Wolford House, Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument #614 Declared November 8, 1994 Built in 1949, the house was designed by architect James DeLong. He incorporated many of Frank Lloyd Wright's Usonian principles, including horizontal volumes, walls and glass surfaces in the same plane. The house features hipped roofs without parapets, extensive use of glass, a close relationship of interior and exterior spaces and mitered glass corners.
